Edward VII

Edward VII was King of the United Kingdom from 1901 to 1910 and Emperor of India. After six decades as heir to Queen Victoria, he restored the public energy of the monarchy, encouraged elite social change, and became associated with the diplomacy that preceded the Entente Cordiale.
